Role Description

The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing interior design concepts and executing them from initial idea through to completed spaces for SHAR projects in Riyadh. Day-to-day tasks include space planning, preparing design proposals, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and producing detailed drawings and specifications in collaboration with architecture and construction teams. The role involves site visits, reviewing implementation quality, and ensuring that designs align with project requirements, budgets, and timelines. The Interior Designer will work closely with multidisciplinary project teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders to maintain design integrity and functional performance. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Interior Design and FF&E selection, including materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.

• Strong Space Planning skills to create functional, efficient, and aesthetically cohesive layouts.

• Knowledge of Architecture principles and coordination with structural and MEP disciplines.

• Ability to produce accurate Construction Drawings, details, and documentation for execution on site.

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

• Experience working on commercial, residential, or hospitality interior projects, preferably within the construction sector.

• Competence in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools).

• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate in a multicultural environment.

• Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and commitment to safety and quality standards.

• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
