Interior Designer

A well-established office interior design company based in Abu Dhabi is looking for an arabic speaking experienced interior designer for its operations. Role Description

We are seeking a skilled and creative

Interior Designer – Office Fit-Out

to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing design concepts, preparing detailed drawings, selecting materials, and managing fit-out implementation on-site. You will collaborate with clients, contractors, and project teams to deliver high-quality interiors that meet aesthetic, functional, and budgetary requirements.

Key Responsibilities: Design & Concept Development

• Develop innovative and functional interior design concepts in line with client requirements and brand standards.

• concept designer proficient in Goddard creative space planning and 3ds

• Prepare mood boards, sketches, space planning, and 3D visualizations.

• Select furniture, finishes, materials, and color schemes.

Technical Documentation

• Create detailed interior drawings including layouts, elevations, sections, and joinery details using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.

• Prepare FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) schedules and material boards.

• Ensure design documentation complies with local regulations and standards.

Project Coordination & Fit-Out

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders during the design and execution phases.

• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality of work aligns with design specifications.

• Resolve design-related issues and propose solutions during construction and fit-out stages.

Client Management

• Attend client meetings and present design proposals.

• Interpret client needs and translate them into design concepts.

• Provide updates on design progress and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.

• 10+ years of experience in interior design and fit-out in commercial / hospitality/retail projects.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office.

• Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and furniture.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

• Knowledge of local building codes, health & safety standards, and fit-out processes.

• Knowledge in Arabic language is mandatory
