Job description:

We are looking for a highly organized and analytical Business Analyst cum Software Administrator with strong knowledge of freight forwarding and logistics operations. The candidate will work closely with management, operations, sales, finance, and the software development team to understand business requirements, improve operational processes, manage software systems, and support the development and implementation of solutions for freight forwarding operations.

Key Responsibilities

* Gather and analyze business requirements from freight forwarding and other internal departments.

* Understand and document freight forwarding processes, including *Sea Freight, Air Freight, Import, Export, Documentation, Pricing, Sales, Operations, and Finance workflows*.

* Coordinate with the software development team regarding system requirements, enhancements, and new features.

* Translate business requirements into clear functional requirements and specifications for developers.

* Analyze existing freight forwarding processes and identify opportunities for system improvement, automation, and process optimization.

* Test new software features, modules, reports, and system enhancements before implementation.

* Identify software and system issues and coordinate with developers for timely resolution.

* Monitor and administer the company's software systems and user access.

* Provide system support and basic software training to employees.

* Ensure the software is being properly utilized across different departments.

* Prepare process flows, workflows, reports, system requirement documents, user guides, and other system documentation.

* Ensure data accuracy, system controls, and proper data entry across departments.

* Continuously review software functionality and recommend improvements based on business and operational requirements.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in *Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field*.

* Experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry is highly preferred.

* Experience as a Business Analyst, Software Administrator, System Administrator, ERP Administrator, or similar role.

* Strong understanding of freight forwarding business processes and operations

* Experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.

* Knowledge of software testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and system implementation.

* Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.

* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple requirements and projects.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
