About the Role

PQMS is seeking a highly skilled IT Security Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in IT security. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing secure IT systems and networks, mitigating risks, and responding to security incidents.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement secure network solutions to defend against advanced cyber threats.
Identify, evaluate, and mitigate security risks to IT systems and data.
Perform vulnerability testing, risk analyses, and security assessments.
Respond to all system and/or network security breaches.
Ensure that the organization's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls.
Participate in the change management process.
Conduct training and provide security awareness guidance to IT staff.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.

A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as an IT Security Engineer or in a comparable position.
Comprehensive knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, authentication mechanisms, and security systems.
In-depth technical expertise in database and operating system security.
Practical experience with security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, and authentication solutions.
Possession of professional certifications in information security (such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, etc.) is advantageous.
