Bachelor s degree. Two years of experience in software development and systems analysis are required. Additional related work experience in software development and systems analysis may substitute for the required college education on a year-for-year basis.
Recruitment Notes
This is a professional and technical position within the Geospatial Utility Solutions group of the Communication and Information Technology Department (CITD), supporting Geographic Information Systems (GIS) applications for the Regulatory & Economic Resources (RER) departmental support. The primary responsibilities include managing projects where various applications will be developed or configured using GIS. The role involves collecting project requirements, documenting the scope of work, selecting appropriate technologies using ESRI platforms, and developing and configuring the resulting applications. The incumbent will collaborate with other developers and customers; conduct extensive research and problem-solving; and provide recommendations to create better applications and ensure successful project outcomes.
Preferences

Considerable knowledge of Environmental Systems Research Institute’s (Esri) GIS platforms and solutions.

Experience in spatial analysis and data editing using GIS desktop solutions such as ArcGIS Pro and cloud solutions like ArcGIS Online.

Proficiency in Python, .NET, and other application development languages, as well as SQL queries and databases.

Experience with Azure DevOps for the software development lifecycle.
