Job Description – Civil Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and motivated Civil Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in the UAE construction and maintenance sector. The candidate should have practical experience in site supervision, civil works execution, subcontractor coordination, and project documentation, with the ability to manage site activities while ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities, including civil, masonry, plastering, tiling, painting, gypsum board, and other fit-out and maintenance works.

• Monitor project progress and ensure that all works are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.

• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards, HSE requirements, and applicable UAE regulations.

• Prepare daily progress reports, material requests, work schedules, and other project-related documentation.

• Review drawings, identify site discrepancies, and coordinate necessary technical clarifications.

• Monitor material consumption, manpower allocation, and site productivity to minimize delays and wastage.

• Assist in preparing BOQs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and quotations for civil and maintenance works.

• Follow up on material deliveries, site requirements, and work completion schedules.

• Ensure proper housekeeping, safe working practices, and compliance with client and site procedures.

• Visit project sites across the UAE as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in the UAE construction, fit-out, or building maintenance sector.

• Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.

• Good knowledge of civil works, finishing works, and site supervision.

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.

• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

• Ability to manage multiple site activities and work under pressure.

• Candidates currently residing in the UAE are preferred.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
