Junior Production Accountant

Hoff Studios · Tribeca, New York, NY · On-site, Full-Time

$62,400–$72,800/year

About Hoff Studios

Hoff Studios is a Tribeca-based content production company working across short, mid, and long-form formats — live, documentary, branded, commercial, promo, and performance. We work with Netflix, YouTube, Spotify, TikTok, Amazon, NBC, Condé Nast, MTV, and Vogue, along with major other major brands.

The Role

We're hiring a Junior Production Accountant to serve as the dedicated finance support across multiple concurrent productions. Reporting to a Line Producer, you'll keep invoicing, receivables, payroll, and card reconciliation accurate and on schedule so our productions run clean from prep through wrap. This is a hands-on, in-office role ideal for someone with a year or two of production accounting under their belt who's ready to own their function across a busy slate.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue client invoices, and track them through to payment

  • Own accounts receivable — monitor aging, follow up on outstanding balances, and keep records current

  • Also owning accounts payable working alongside the production team to handle vendor payments

  • Process weekly payroll for both production crew and full-time corporate staff

  • Reconcile corporate credit cards, coding and documenting expenses against the correct productions and budget lines

  • Support Line Producers and Production Managers with accurate, up-to-date cost information across concurrent projects

  • Maintain clean, audit-ready financial records and filing

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in production accounting or a comparable role

  • Familiarity with Wrapbook, Movie Magic Budgeting, and QuickBooks

  • Comfortable working in Slack and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)

  • Strong attention to detail and a head for numbers, deadlines, and documentation

  • Ability to juggle multiple productions at once without dropping threads

  • Willingness and ability to work full-time, on-site in our Tribeca office

Nice to Have

  • Experience across varied formats (live, documentary, branded, commercial)

  • Exposure to both union and non-union payroll

Compensation & Benefits

  • $62,400–$72,800 annualized, depending on experience

  • Health insurance

  • Full-time, salaried position based in our Tribeca studio
