Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, assist with financial reporting and VAT compliance, and ensure all accounting activities are completed accurately and in accordance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.

• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other financial documents.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.

• Reconcile bank statements, company accounts, and other financial records.

• Assist with bank and branch-related accounting operations.

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.

• Prepare VAT documentation and assist with tax compliance and related filings.

• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.

• Assist with payroll processing and employee reimbursement claims.

• Support internal and external audits by providing required documents and information.

• Assist in preparing financial reports, schedules, and account reconciliations.

• Ensure accounting transactions are recorded accurately and on time.

• Follow company accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience.

• Good knowledge of accounting principles and day-to-day accounting operations.

• Knowledge of banking and branch operations.

• Basic understanding of UAE VAT and tax compliance.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Added Advantage

• CA, CMA, or ACCA qualification, or currently pursuing any of these professional qualifications, will be an added advantage.
