Job Title: Junior Data Analyst
Location: Remote United States
Employment Type: FT W2 Hourly
Compensation: $35 per hour

About CareTalk Health CareTalk Health is a national virtual medical practice specializing in Clinical Process Outsourcing (CPO). We partner with healthcare organizations to build and manage patient and member populations, delivering care by video across the states we serve and scheduling approximately 20,000 patient visits per month.

The Junior Data Scientist / Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in managing, analyzing, and interpreting healthcare-related data to support our mission. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights that influence decision-making, optimize processes, and improve patient care.
You will have the opportunity to build and implement solutions leveraging the latest advancements in deep learning, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. **What Youâll Do **
Key Responsibilities

Data Management: Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources.

Analysis: Perform statistical analyses and generate actionable insights from healthcare data.

Visualization: Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.

Collaboration: Work with product, engineering, and clinical teams to define data requirements and deliver solutions.

Data Quality: Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data by implementing best practices for validation and maintenance.

Machine Learning (Developing): Develop and apply basic machine learning models to identify patterns and predict outcomes.
Required

Education: Bachelorâs degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a data-focused role (internship experience included).
Skills:

Proficiency in SQL and Python or R for data analysis.

Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Basic understanding of statistical methods and predictive modeling.

Knowledge of healthcare datasets or standards (e.g., FHIR, ICD-10) is a plus.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
Work Location Requirement
This is a remote U.S.-based position. Employees must perform all work physically within the United States. International work is not permitted during scheduled work hours.

This is a remote position and may be âon cameraâ at any time. This position will work from a home office, requiring reliable internet connectivity and a secure, private workspace.

Internet Speed: Meet minimum internet speed requirements (100 MBPS download speed and 50 MBPS upload speed). Must have an ethernet cable connecting computer directly into router.
**Browser and System: ** Use Google Chrome with Amazon Workspaces (regardless of computer type).
**Webcam: ** A webcam is required for video calls. Most laptops have a built-in webcam, which is acceptable. If your computer does not have a webcam, you will need to use an external webcam.
Recommended Equipment: A second monitor is highly suggested for laptop users; dual monitors for PC users.
