Job description
We are looking for a Junior Electrical Site Engineer to join our construction team in Dubai. The ideal candidate must be DEWA-approved or Dubai Municipality-approved, possess a valid UAE driving license, and have experience in residential and commercial building projects. The candidate should have a strong understanding of electrical systems, basic plumbing knowledge, and be capable of preparing workshop drawings and DEWA submissions.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate electrical works at construction sites.

Prepare and review electrical shop/workshop drawings using AutoCAD.

Prepare load schedules, load balancing, and electrical load calculations for DEWA submissions.

Coordinate with DEWA and relevant authorities for approvals and inspections.

Assist in the design and execution of power, lighting, and electrical distribution systems.

Coordinate with MEP subcontractors, including HVAC, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, Plumbing, ELV, BMS, and LPG.

Work closely with civil and architectural teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Conduct site inspections and ensure work complies with project specifications, DEWA regulations, and safety standards.

Monitor project progress and prepare site reports.

Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems.

Support project engineers in resolving technical and site-related issues.
Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 3 years of UAE/GCC experience in electrical construction projects.

DEWA Approved or Dubai Municipality Approved Engineer (mandatory).

Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory).

Proficiency in AutoCAD for preparing electrical shop/workshop drawings.

Experience in electrical load calculations, load balancing, and DEWA submissions.

Basic knowledge of plumbing systems is mandatory.

Good understanding of UAE electrical codes, DEWA regulations, and construction standards.

Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
