As a

Junior Full Stack Web Developer

, you'll be helping us expand and refine our cloud-based SaaS applications in response to business requirements, new application development needs, feature requests and other internal requirements. You can expect to work on bug fixes, feature requests and new development projects across the entire cloud technology stack, predominantly via ASP.NET frameworks utilizing C#, Razor, SQL, JavaScript / jQuery, but also a wide range of Microsoft Azure technologies where necessary.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assist with the design, development, testing, and deployment of bug fixes, enhancements, and new features across MediaLab's cloud-based SaaS applications and supporting technology stack.

  • Apply object-oriented programming concepts and established design patterns under guidance to produce maintainable, reusable, and testable application code.

  • Contribute to secure, performant, and scalable application features, with attention to data protection, reliability, maintainability, and long-term product growth.

  • Collaborate with product, engineering, support, and other internal stakeholders to understand requirements, evaluate technical approaches, and deliver features that address customer and business needs.

  • Partner with the support team and senior developers to investigate reported issues, identify root causes, communicate technical findings, and deliver timely fixes or workarounds.

  • Develop and maintain application data access, SQL queries, stored procedures, integrations, and APIs with guidance from senior team members to support reliable SaaS functionality and efficient customer workflows.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent degree Academic, internship, project, or early professional experience with ASP.NET technologies, such as ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET Web Forms, MVC, Razor Pages, or Web API.

  • Working knowledge of front-end web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.

  • Familiarity with designing, writing, troubleshooting, and optimizing SQL queries against Microsoft SQL Server databases.

  • Exposure to Microsoft Azure services commonly used in SaaS environments, such as App Services, Azure SQL, storage services, caching, monitoring, or related cloud infrastructure.

  • Foundational understanding of web application architecture, secure coding practices, authentication and authorization concepts, multi-tier systems, and SaaS design principles.

  • Exposure to business-to-business, customer-facing, or regulated-industry web applications is preferred, especially within a small collaborative development team.

  • Familiarity with source control, code review, issue tracking, and modern software development workflows used to deliver reliable production software.
