Junior Mechanical Engineer – Fit-Out

Role Overview

Assisting in the design review, coordination, and site supervision of mechanical systems—including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection—for commercial, retail, hospitality, office, and residential fit-out projects.

Education & Certification

 * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

 * Membership/registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is preferred.

Experience

 * Fresh graduate or 0–2 years of experience in mechanical engineering or MEP contracting/fit-out.

 * Internship or academic project experience related to HVAC, plumbing, or fire protection systems is a plus.

Technical Skills

 * Basic understanding of mechanical design standards and codes (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, and Saudi Building Code).

 * Fundamentals of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection system design.

 * Proficiency in AutoCAD; basic knowledge of Revit MEP, HAP/Carrier, or other engineering software is preferred.

 * Familiarity with reading and understanding mechanical shop drawings and BOQs.

Project & Site Responsibilities

 * Support senior engineers in reviewing shop drawings, technical submittals, and material submissions.

 * Assist in site inspections, quality checks, and testing for mechanical installations.

 * Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers under senior supervision.

 * Help prepare quantity take-offs (BOQs) and daily/weekly site progress reports.

 * Adhere to project schedules, quality standards, and HSE guidelines.
