Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your knowledge and experience in construction and maintenance of buildings, equipment, and services, building regulations and guidelines.

  • Ensure full co-ordination between specifications and drawings.

  • Compile project reports, technical submittals, requests for information & misc. documentation.

  • Deliver projects with the highest quality, ensuring that QA documents are produced and maintained.

  • Liaise with main contractors & consultants to deliver mechanical design and co-ordinate with all other disciplines in terms of mechanical requirements and the mechanical discipline’s influence on all others.

  • Use IT systems to keep track of documentation and progress.

  • Manage and monitor sub-contractors to ensure progress & guidelines are maintained.

  • Attend site meetings, walkdowns, and handovers.

  • Set high standards of leadership in promotion of health and safety procedures and best practices, always ensuring compliance with Company procedures and legal obligations for safe construction.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

  • Previous experience in construction.

  • Strong time management and communication skills.

  • Computer literacy and ability to prepare reports and necessary paperwork.
