Job description

Position: Junior IT & Network Engineer

Location: Sharjah, UAE

Job Purpose

Support the IT Manager in maintaining the company's network, systems, devices and business applications across the office, factory and project sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, firewalls and network connectivity.

  • Troubleshoot internet, VPN and network issues.

  • Set up and support computers, laptops, printers, CCTV, IP phones and mobile devices.

  • Manage user accounts, email and access permissions.

  • Support Odoo/ERP, Zoho and Microsoft 365 users.

  • Assist with servers, backups, antivirus and system updates.

  • Maintain IT asset records, licences and network documentation.

  • Support IT setup for new offices, factory areas and project sites.

  • Coordinate with IT vendors, ISPs and hardware suppliers.

  • Provide day-to-day technical support to employees.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics or related field.

  • 1–3 years' experience in IT support/network administration.

  • Good knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, VPN and firewalls.

Preference: Arabic speaking candidates

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
