Job description
To pursue our mission of “helping clients achieve their greatest potential using the power of technology”, we are looking for a Junior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to help us develop and deliver business critical projects for our customers using agile methodologies.
Reporting into the Quality Assurance Manager, this will be a hands-on software testing role within an agile team working in a highly collaborative manner with our technical leads, developers, business analysts and scrum masters.
As Junior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will primarily be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software. As this will involve close, daily interaction within the context of an agile team, your communication and people skills will need to be superb. This role is based in our Limerick office on a Hybrid basis (2 days from office, 3 days from home.

Technical Responsibilities:
• Collaborate effectively with our business analysts, scrum masters and technical leads to assist in the planning, designing, development, testing, and maintenance of our client’s web-based & mobile applications.
• Developing and executing automated test plans.
• Define and plan test cycles and test quality.
• Analyse requirements and review acceptance criteria to ensure they are fit for purpose.
• Translate technical requirements into test plans.
• Create comprehensive and well-defined test scripts that are traceable back to requirements.
• Execution of functional, regression and integration tests across a wide range of Enterprise Systems.
• Liaises with technical team lead and development team to ensure resolution of system defects.
Required Skills
• Degree or Higher Dip in a computing related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience (2+years) in testing of Web & Mobile based technologies.
• Experience working with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright.
• Experience in coding Languages such as Python, C#.
• Demonstrate a good understanding of Web & Mobile based technologies and usability.
• Ability to adapt quickly when testing different solutions.
• Experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and automated testing in UI and API.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Willingness to travel, if required.
