Lead AI Engineer

2. About the Opportunity:

The Lead AI Engineer role is responsible for designing, building, and deploying AI-powered applications that integrate seamlessly with existing systems. This position plays a critical role in rapidly prototyping AI solutions that translate business needs into innovative features. The individual will contribute by developing agentic AI workflows and applying advanced techniques to enhance AI model performance, thereby directly impacting the organization's ability to deliver cutting-edge AI applications.

3. Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications and services integrated with existing systems and workflows.

• Rapidly prototype and iterate AI solutions to meet business requirements.

• Develop and implement agentic AI workflows using orchestration frameworks like LangGraph.

• Apply prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation techniques to improve model performance.

• Prepare and manage multimodal datasets, including documents, PDFs, and images.

• Stay updated on AI developments, evaluate new models, and select appropriate tools for each use case.

4. Requirements:

• Proven experience in building, deploying, and maintaining AI solutions in production.

• Strong knowledge of modern AI and large language model ecosystems, including evaluation and benchmarking.

• Experience with agentic workflows and orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph or similar.

• Proficiency in web application development using Next.js, React, and Python backend frameworks like FastAPI or Flask.

• Experience with prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, and integrating AI via REST APIs.

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS), Databricks, Oracle ERP, and agentic AI frameworks.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for agile environments.

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Salary Range: $120,000 - $175,000+ depending on qualifications, certifications, and experience.
