Job Overview

We are looking for a highly capable Senior Full Stack Developer with strong Python development skills, working knowledge of React, and experience with AWS to join Ness Digital.

Following internal discussions, the client is open to considering candidates who have not held an official Architect or Technical Lead title but demonstrate strong technical capabilities, ownership, and the ability to drive technical roadmaps.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level engineer who enjoys hands-on coding, taking ownership of technical decisions, collaborating with stakeholders, and helping shape the technology roadmap for the coming year.

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of driving and executing the technical roadmap for the upcoming year.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Python and React.

Write clean, maintainable, production-quality code and contribute to technical design decisions.

Work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and other technical teams to translate requirements into effective solutions.

Take responsibility for technical delivery, prioritization, and problem-solving.

Leverage AI-powered coding tools to improve development productivity and code quality.

Contribute to cloud-based application development and deployment using AWS.

Operate independently and take ownership of the technical responsibilities associated with a standalone senior-level position.

Required Skills and Experience

8+ years of experience in full-stack software development.

Strong hands-on experience with Python for backend development.

Practical experience with React.js; advanced frontend expertise is not essential.

Experience working with AWS and cloud-based application environments.

Experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar agentic coding tools.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Ability to work independently, drive technical initiatives, and take ownership of delivery.

Senior-level technical maturity, with the ability to influence technical direction even without a formal Architect or Lead title.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in financial services, banking, payments, or fintech.

Previous experience contributing to technical roadmaps or making architectural decisions.

Experience with modern development practices, CI/CD, and scalable application design.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a Senior+ hands-on engineer who combines strong Python skills, basic-to-practical React knowledge, AWS experience, and a proactive ownership mindset.

Candidates do not need to have previously held an official Architect or Technical Lead title. The priority is their ability to write code, drive the roadmap, collaborate with stakeholders, and independently take responsibility for the role.
