Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable software systems utilizing microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and cloud infrastructure such as AWS or Azure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, develop technical specifications, and implement innovative solutions using programming languages like Java, C#, Python, Ruby on Rails, and JavaScript frameworks such as React or Express.
Drive agile software development processes, including sprint planning, code reviews, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and version control management with tools like GitHub, SVN, or Git.
Architect system designs that prioritize performance, security (including RBAC), scalability, and maintainability while adhering to best practices in software design patterns.
Mentor and guide engineering team members to enhance their technical skills and foster a collaborative environment focused on quality and innovation.
Oversee system testing, troubleshooting, and optimization efforts to ensure reliable application performance across diverse environments including Linux and Windows platforms.
Stay current with emerging technologies such as quantum engineering concepts or new programming languages to continuously improve our technological capabilities.

Experience

Proven experience leading software engineering teams in fast-paced environments with a focus on web development and application development.
Extensive background in designing scalable systems using microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages including Java, C#, Python, Ruby on Rails, C++, VBA, or C.
Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure platforms like AWS or Azure for deploying and managing applications at scale.
Deep understanding of software engineering principles such as design patterns, system design for system development, scalability strategies, and API management.
Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban to facilitate iterative development cycles.
Knowledge of database management systems including MySQL or SQL Server for data modeling and query optimization.

Pay: $106,396.13 - $128,132.97 per year
