Overview

We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer Intern to join our team and contribute to the development, training, and evaluation of machine learning models. This is a hands-on opportunity to work with real-world datasets and modern machine learning technologies while gaining practical experience in building and improving AI systems.

Responsibilities

Develop, train, and evaluate machine learning models.
Prepare, clean, and preprocess datasets for model development.
Perform feature engineering and data analysis.
Design and run experiments to improve model performance.
Evaluate models using appropriate metrics and validation methods.
Assist with model optimization and deployment.
Research and experiment with new machine learning techniques and architectures.
Debug and troubleshoot machine learning pipelines and model performance issues.
Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and researchers on AI projects.
Document experiments, methodologies, and results.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong programming skills in Python.
Understanding of fundamental machine learning concepts and algorithms.
Familiarity with NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a technical team.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
Familiarity with deep learning and neural networks.
Experience with LLMs, transformers, or generative AI.
Familiarity with model fine-tuning and evaluation.
Experience working with large datasets or GPU-based computing.
Knowledge of SQL, Git, Docker, or cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Previous machine learning research, internship, or personal project experience is a plus.
