We are seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join our founding technical team and help build the intelligence that powers the CLM AI platform.

The Role

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will work closely with the Founder and our Senior Full Stack AI Engineer to design, develop and optimise the AI systems behind CLM AI.

You will help create intelligent features that deliver personalised, engaging and scalable AI experiences while ensuring performance, reliability and responsible AI practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop machine learning solutions for the CLM AI platform.

• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into the application.

• Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) workflows.

• Build AI reasoning and decision-making pipelines.

• Optimise prompts and AI responses for quality and consistency.

• Implement personalisation and recommendation systems.

• Improve AI accuracy, performance and response times.

• Evaluate and test AI outputs using structured metrics.

• Collaborate closely with software engineers to integrate AI features into the product.

• Research emerging AI technologies and recommend improvements.

• Support responsible AI development, including safety, privacy and reliability.

Required Skills

• Python

• Machine Learning fundamentals

• Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs)

• Experience with OpenAI APIs or similar AI services

• Prompt Engineering

• REST APIs

• Git

• SQL and relational databases

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication in English

Nice to Have

• LangChain or LlamaIndex

• Vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, Qdrant, etc.)

• RAG pipelines

• Hugging Face ecosystem

• AI evaluation frameworks

• Docker

• AWS, Azure or Google Cloud

• Experience developing AI-powered SaaS applications

• Experience in recommendation systems or conversational AI
