Job description

Position Summary

ePropelled is seeking an experienced Senior Management Accountant to own the consolidation of financial results across our US, UK, and India entities. This role is central to producing accurate, timely group financial statements, managing intercompany and multi-currency complexity, and strengthening the controls and processes that support a rapidly scaling international manufacturer. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting skills with the initiative to improve systems and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation of financial results across ePropelled's US, UK, and India legal entities, including intercompany eliminations and minority interest as applicable.

  • Manage multi-currency accounting, including FX translation of foreign subsidiary results into USD and analysis of related gains/losses.

  • Own the group month-end and quarter-end close process, ensuring deadlines are met and results are accurately reported to leadership.

  • Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, management reporting packages, and supporting schedules in accordance with US GAAP.

  • Maintain and reconcile intercompany balances, transfer pricing entries, and cross-entity transactions between US, UK, and India operations.

  • Partner with the Controller/VP Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis at both entity and consolidated levels.

  • Support the annual audit and any statutory/local filings, coordinating with local finance teams and external auditors in the UK and India.

  • Own and continuously improve the ERP consolidation process, driving automation and standardization of chart of accounts and reporting across entities.

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and applicable local statutory requirements across all jurisdictions.

  • Supervise, review, and develop 1–2 team members, providing coaching on technical accounting and close processes.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase the speed, accuracy, and scalability of close and consolidation activities as the company grows.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • CPA (or active pursuit of CPA licensure) strongly preferred.

  • 5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including direct experience consolidating multi-entity, multi-currency financial statements.

  • Strong working knowledge of US GAAP; familiarity with UK/IFRS reporting differences is a plus given ePropelled's international entities.

  • Hands-on experience with a mid-market or enterprise ERP system (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar), including consolidation functionality.

  • Advanced Excel skills; comfort working with large, multi-entity data sets.

  • Demonstrated experience managing or mentoring junior accounting staff.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with finance teams in different time zones (US, UK, India).

  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing deadlines during close cycles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or hardware technology environment.

  • Prior experience with a private equity– or venture-backed, high-growth company.

  • Familiarity with dedicated consolidation tools (e.g., Odoo, NetSuite OneWorld, OneStream, Hyperion) in addition to core ERP.

  • Experience supporting government contract accounting or ITAR-related compliance considerations.

Work Environment

This role is based onsite at ePropelled's Laconia, NH headquarters, working within a fast-paced manufacturing and engineering environment. Some flexibility to coordinate with UK and India finance teams outside standard hours may be required, particularly around close.
