About the Role

The Manager - Engineering Production Support (GEnx & LEAP) leads and controls all technical engineering support activities for assigned engine programs. This role ensures safe, compliant, and efficient execution of engine overhaul and repair operations by providing technical governance, interpreting and implementing OEM and regulatory requirements, and developing engineering work instructions. Acting as the primary technical authority, the Manager serves as the key liaison between Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, OEMs, and Customers, guaranteeing seamless and compliant engine maintenance execution while supporting turnaround time, reliability, and operational performance.

Your Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Engineering Governance: Lead and develop the GEnx & LEAP Engineering Support team, set technical priorities, allocate workloads, and establish engineering standards and best practices.

  • Technical Authority & Engineering Support: Provide technical oversight, approve engineering dispositions, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure timely technical responses to production challenges.

  • OEM & Regulatory Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with OEM manuals, service bulletins, airworthiness directives, and regulatory requirements while acting as the primary interface with OEMs and authorities.

  • Production & Operational Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support workflow execution, manage technical risks, and align engineering readiness with operational targets.

  • Technical Reporting & Analysis: Review and validate technical reports, monitor reliability trends, lead root cause analyses, and provide performance insights.

  • Continuous Improvement & Capability Development: Drive process optimization, implement Lean practices, support digitalization initiatives, and promote knowledge sharing.

  • Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities to support operational and business objectives as assigned.

Who we are looking for

We seek a highly experienced professional with a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline, complemented by advanced certifications preferred. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 10 years progressive experience in Aviation/MRO engineering, including at least 5 years in technical leadership roles supporting major engine programs such as GEnx or LEAP. You possess expert knowledge of OEM documentation, airworthiness requirements, and regulatory compliance, with a proven ability to lead engineering teams and drive operational improvements. Key competencies include technical authority in engine MRO, OEM and regulatory compliance management, engineering planning and workscope control, problem solving, root cause analysis, cross-functional collaboration, governance, leadership, stakeholder management, continuous improvement, and sound analytical decision making.
