KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Event Marketing
-
Assist in the planning of marketing activities for ELFA events, including conferences, webinars, and industry meetings.

Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to develop event promotional materials and campaigns.

Track and report on event marketing performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement.

Support on-site event logistics and marketing needs, including setup and breakdown of branded materials.

Conduct surveys of attendees.
Email Marketing

Develop, design, schedule, and deploy email marketing campaigns to promote ELFA events, programs, and initiatives.

Manage email lists, segmentation, and subscriber data in compliance with best practices and regulations.

Monitor campaign performance (open rates, click-throughs, conversions) and generate reports for leadership.

Continuously test and optimize email content, subject lines, and layouts to improve engagement.
Signage & Collateral

Design briefs, coordinate production, and manage inventory of event signage and printed marketing materials.
-
Ensure all signage is consistent with ELFA brand standards and delivered on time and within budget.

Work with graphic designers and print vendors to produce high-quality materials.
Event App Management
-
Serve as the primary administrator for ELFA's event app, managing content updates, session schedules, speaker profiles, and attendee communications.

Troubleshoot app-related issues before and during events, coordinating with the app vendor as needed.

Collect and analyze post-event app feedback to inform future improvements.

Stay current with event app features and recommend enhancements to improve the attendee experience.
Webinars
-
Work with internal committee liaisons to translate product value and industry trends into engaging virtual event topics.

Ensure all campaign assets (landing pages & slide decks) adhere to current messaging and brand guidelines.

Build and manage programs including registration forms, confirmation triggers, and calendar invites.

Identify and target specific segments to ensure the right audience is targeted.

Moderate live events, facilitate Q&A, and manage technical operations on platforms like Zoom or GoToWebinar.

Collaborate with teams to ensure prompt follow-up and analyze engagement metrics.
Additional Responsibilities

Maintain and update relevant website and intranet information to ensure content is current, accurate, and aligned with ELFA brand standards.

Compile metrics reports for promotional campaigns to track performance and inform strategy.

Work with teams to establish an editorial calendar and manage deadlines to ensure timely delivery of marketing content.

Attend and support national meetings and provide onsite communications support.

Supports campaigns from idea through implementation collaborating across teams to ensure cohesive execution.

Manage ELFA’s email promotional schedule; write and disseminate email blasts and mailers to targeted audiences.

Assists the team with SEO strategy including keyword and competitive research; experience with UberSuggest or SEMRush preferred.

Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Technology or a related field.

Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in marketing, event coordination, or a related role.

Proficiency with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, Survey Monkey, Tailored Mail, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar).

Strong written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Comfortable with travel (approximately 40%) and flexible scheduling around events.
Preferred
-
Experience managing an event app platform.
-
Experience with Monday.com or other project management software.
-
Familiarity with basic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.

Prior experience in an association, nonprofit, or financial services environment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT, COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with experience and skill set, with an anticipated base salary range of $68,000-$78,000.

Hybrid work environment: in-office 2 days per week (Tuesdays and one additional day of choice).
