ANZUK Executive invites applications for the position of Marketing Manager at St Hilda’s School, an independent Anglican day and boarding school for girls from Pre-Prep to Year 12.

The Role

The Marketing Manager provides strategic leadership across the School’s marketing and communications function, working closely with the Director of Business and Operations, Principal and senior leadership team.

The role is responsible for developing and delivering marketing strategies and campaigns that strengthen the School’s brand, enhance its market position and effectively communicate the St Hilda’s story across a diverse range of audiences and platforms.

With responsibility for the School’s digital presence, social media, media engagement, publications and marketing content, the Marketing Manager will ensure a consistent and compelling brand across all channels. The role also leads and supports the Marketing team, including the Digital Marketing and Content Creator.

This is an opportunity for an experienced marketing professional to combine strategic thinking with creativity, strong communication and hands-on delivery in a dynamic school environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering the School’s strategic marketing plan and marketing budget

  • Leading marketing initiatives that support the School’s strategic priorities, vision, mission and values

  • Overseeing the annual Communications Plan, including media releases, publications and brand alignment

  • Protecting and strengthening the St Hilda’s brand and strategic positioning in the market

  • Managing the School’s marketing and advertising activities across traditional and digital channels

  • Overseeing the development of high-quality and visually compelling content across websites, newsletters, social media, publications and stakeholder communications

  • Leading email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, A/B testing and performance analysis

  • Overseeing the School’s website, app and social media channels

  • Coordinating graphic design requirements across internal and external providers

  • Ensuring consistent application of the School’s Style Guide and brand standards

  • Overseeing photography, videography and the School’s visual portfolio

  • Supporting media engagement and the production of written and digital publications

  • Preparing reports for the Principal, School Council and Foundation Board on marketing and brand initiatives

  • Leading, coaching and developing the Marketing team

  • Ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of marketing projects and communications across the School

About You

The successful candidate will be a creative, strategic and highly organised marketing professional who demonstrates:

  • Strong experience in marketing, communications, brand management or a related discipline

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional copywriting, editing and proofreading capability

  • Demonstrated ability to develop engaging, platform-appropriate content across digital and traditional channels

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends and best-practice content strategies

  • Experience managing multiple marketing projects, priorities and deadlines within a dynamic environment

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively across an organisation

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with strong attention to detail

  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva to produce high-quality content

  • Graphic design and video editing capability

  • A professional, confident and service-oriented approach

  • The ability to adapt and pivot in response to changing priorities

  • Alignment with the vision, mission and values of St Hilda’s School

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field

  • Demonstrated experience in marketing and communications, including digital and social media

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and/or Final Cut Pro

  • Experience creating compelling and on-brand social media content across platforms including Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn

  • Experience with social media management tools and an understanding of current digital marketing trends

  • Previous experience in a school or education environment is advantageous

  • Intermediate-level Microsoft Office skills

  • Current Driver’s Licence

  • Blue Card (Working with Children Check) – current or eligible to obtain
