The Opportunity

We're seeking a Marketing Manager to lead the marketing strategy and day-to-day delivery across Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre and Showgrounds Village. Based primarily at Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre, you'll play a key role in driving customer engagement, supporting retailer performance and strengthening each centre's connection with the local community.

This is a genuine end-to-end marketing role where you'll balance strategic planning with hands-on delivery. From annual marketing plans and budget management through to events, social media management, reporting and community engagement initiatives, you'll have ownership of the full marketing function while working closely with National Marketing, Centre Management, retailers, agencies and key stakeholders.

You'll also support Showgrounds Village, a prominent, high-volume neighbourhood centre. With strong support structures already in place, this presents an opportunity to contribute new ideas, help shape local engagement strategies and play a meaningful role in the centre's ongoing development.

About The Role

This is a hands-on marketing position combining strategic planning, campaign delivery, stakeholder engagement and portfolio marketing leadership.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Develop and execute annual marketing plans, campaigns and promotional activities

  • Coordinate events, centre activations, digital marketing, social media and communications

  • Build strong relationships with retailers, community groups, suppliers, agencies and local stakeholders

  • Manage Curate and manage marketing budgets, reporting and campaign performance analysis

  • Review and approve marketing collateral, creative content, media activity and promotional initiatives

  • Analyse trade area trends, customer metrics and centre performance to inform marketing decisions

  • Support community-focused programs that strengthen each centre's local connection

  • Collaborate with National Marketing, Centre Management and Asset Management teams on broader asset initiatives and development projects

About You

We're interested in experienced marketing professionals who enjoy building relationships, creating meaningful customer experiences and taking ownership of outcomes.

You'll Likely Bring

  • At least 3 years' marketing experience, ideally within retail, shopping centres, property, destination marketing or a related environment

  • Strong capability across events, campaigns, stakeholder engagement and project coordination

  • Experience curating and managing marketing budgets, reporting and multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Confidence working across digital, social media, events and traditional marketing channels

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand trade areas, customer demographics and performance metrics

  • A practical, collaborative approach with a strong work ethic and willingness to get involved at every level

  • Retail or shopping centre marketing experience will be highly regarded
