Mechanical Design Engineer – HVAC (AHU & Chiller Systems)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design HVAC systems with strong experience in AHU and Chiller systems.

• Perform engineering calculations for cooling loads, airflow, ductwork, chilled water piping, and pumps.

• Select and specify AHUs, Chillers, Pumps, Fans, and associated equipment.

• Prepare mechanical design drawings and detailed/shop drawings.

• Coordinate with other MEP disciplines and review technical drawings and specifications.

• Ensure compliance with the Saudi Building Code and relevant standards, including ASHRAE and SMACNA.

• Prepare equipment schedules, technical specifications, BOQs, and conduct technical reviews of suppliers' submittals.

• Provide technical support to project teams during construction and commissioning and resolve design-related technical issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design and HVAC systems.

• Proven practical experience in designing AHU, Chiller, and Chilled Water Systems.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, with experience in Revit MEP and HAP and thermal load calculations.

• Ability to prepare and review engineering calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.

• Experience in designing hospitals, laboratories, and projects with specialized technical requirements is preferred.

• Good command of English.

• Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) classification/registration is required.

Pay: ﷼3,000.00 - ﷼6,000.00 per month
