Role Description

This full-time, on-site Mechanical Design Engineer role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Mechanical Design Engineer will develop and optimize mechanical designs for prefabricated building components, systems, and assemblies, ensuring structural integrity, safety, and manufacturability. Responsibilities include creating detailed 3D models and drawings using CAD tools, performing design calculations, collaborating with cross-functional teams in engineering, fabrication, and logistics, and preparing technical documentation and specifications. The role involves reviewing designs for cost efficiency, ease of installation, and compliance with relevant standards, as well as supporting prototyping, testing, and continuous improvement of mechanical and product designs.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Design Engineering and Mechanical Engineering skills, with experience in structural and mechanical systems relevant to prefabricated or modular buildings.

• Candidates should possess expertise in Machine Design and Product Design, focusing on durable, efficient, and manufacturable components and assemblies.

• Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), including 3D modeling and the creation of detailed engineering drawings and bills of materials.

• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field; professional certifications or licensure are beneficial.

• Experience in construction, prefabrication, or modular building environments, with knowledge of applicable codes and standards.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

• Ability to work on-site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
