Mechanical Engineer – Facilities Management

We are looking for a

Mechanical Engineer

with hands-on experience in

facilities management, operations, and maintenance

to support mechanical systems across site operations.

The role is suitable for candidates who have a solid mechanical engineering foundation and are looking to grow within a large-scale FM environment, working on preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, site inspections, reporting, and coordination with operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily mechanical operations and maintenance activities across the facility.

• Monitor and follow up on

  preventive and corrective maintenance

  for mechanical systems.

• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical faults and coordinating proper repair actions.

• Conduct site inspections to ensure systems are operating safely and efficiently.

• Support maintenance activities related to pumps, piping networks, valves, water systems, STP/RO plants, lift stations, and related mechanical equipment.

• Coordinate with technicians, supervisors, vendors, and subcontractors when required.

• Prepare basic reports related to maintenance progress, issues, materials, and site observations.

• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, quality standards, and client requirements.

• Maintain proper documentation for mechanical works, maintenance records, and inspection findings.

• Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance, reduce downtime, and support smooth operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum

  2 years of experience

  in mechanical engineering, preferably within

  Facilities Management, maintenance, construction, or site operations

  .

• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems such as pumps, valves, piping, HVAC-related systems, water systems, and mechanical equipment.

• Ability to read drawings, schematics, and technical documents.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Strong commitment to safety and quality.

• Ability to work on-site and support operational requirements.

Preferred Background

• Experience in FM, O&M, infrastructure, commercial buildings, hospitals, airports, industrial facilities, or large project environments.

• Familiarity with CAFM systems, work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, and site reporting is a plus.
