Role Description
This full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and focuses on façade and aluminum systems with strong involvement in site and subcontractor management. The Mechanical Engineer will design, review, and optimize façade and aluminum system components, ensuring structural integrity, performance, and compliance with project specifications and applicable standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing and checking technical drawings and CAD models, coordinating with design and production teams, and supporting fabrication and installation activities. The role also involves supervising site work related to aluminum and glazing systems, monitoring subcontractor performance, resolving technical issues on site, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and schedule requirements. The Mechanical Engineer will collaborate with project managers, consultants, and clients, contribute to R&D initiatives for system improvements, and support documentation, reporting, and continuous process enhancement.
Qualifications

Solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with experience applying mechanical principles to façade and aluminum systems.

Proficiency in Machine Design and component selection for structural and architectural applications.

Strong Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for creating and reviewing detailed drawings and models of façade and aluminum assemblies.

Demonstrated Project Management capabilities, including planning, coordination, and supervision of site activities and subcontractors.

Experience in Research and Development (R&D) related to building envelopes, materials, or system performance optimization.

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.

Knowledge of relevant building, structural, and façade standards and codes; familiarity with ASTM, DIN, or similar standards is an advantage.

Experience in aluminum, glass, curtain wall, or cladding systems, preferably in a manufacturing or construction environment.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications, and to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality on site.
