Mechanical Engineer – HVAC, Plumbing & Drainage

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with strong hands-on experience in HVAC, water supply, drainage and plumbing works within the construction industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing mechanical works from estimating, planning and execution through testing, commissioning and handover, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Estimate & preparation of BOQ

• Supervise and manage day-to-day mechanical construction activities, including HVAC, water supply, drainage and plumbing systems.

• Review approved shop drawings, specifications, BOQs and project requirements.

• Ensure installation works are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications and applicable standards.

• Monitor HVAC installation including ductwork, piping, FCUs, AHUs, ventilation systems and related equipment.

• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors and suppliers on technical and site-related matters.

• Prepare and review material submittals, method statements, RFIs, inspection requests and technical documentation.

• Monitor subcontractor performance and verify completed works.

• Prepare progress reports, quantity measurements and material requirements when required.

• Support project estimation, variation works and technical/commercial coordination when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant construction/MEP experience, preferably in Qatar.

• Strong experience in HVAC, water supply, drainage and plumbing works.
