Mechanical Engineer – Maintenance

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage day-to-day mechanical maintenance activities.

• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for HVAC and mechanical systems.

• Handle maintenance of chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, cooling towers, ventilation systems, and other mechanical equipment.

• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate troubleshooting and breakdown rectification.

• Conduct regular site inspections and identify maintenance requirements.

• Prepare maintenance schedules, reports, checklists, and equipment records.

• Supervise technicians and ensure maintenance works are completed efficiently and safely.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and other departments regarding maintenance activities.

• Monitor spare parts, materials, and manpower requirements.

• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with HSE standards, company procedures, and client requirements.

• Assist in identifying recurring equipment problems and implementing corrective actions.

• Ensure proper documentation and timely closure of maintenance work orders.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• UPDA/MME Certified – Mandatory.

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in mechanical maintenance/FM operations.

• Strong experience in HVAC and chiller maintenance.

• Experience in commercial buildings, hospitals, or large facilities is an advantage.

• Good knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.

• Experience in supervising technicians and maintenance teams.

• Qatar/GCC experience preferred.

• Valid QID and NOC preferred for candidates available in Qatar.

• Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.

Pay: QAR4,000.00 - QAR8,000.00 per month
