Mechanical Engineer – MEP (NEBOSH Certification Preferred)

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: AED 3,000 – AED 7,000 per month

Experience Required: 2+ Years

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer (MEP) to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in construction, maintenance, and facility management projects, with strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and execute MEP mechanical works at project sites.

  • Handle HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and drainage systems.

  • Review technical drawings, specifications, and BOQ documents.

  • Coordinate with civil, electrical, and architectural teams.

  • Prepare material submittals, method statements, and work schedules.

  • Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.

  • Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and progress monitoring.

  • Manage manpower, materials, and daily site activities.

  • Attend client and consultant meetings to resolve technical issues.

  • Prepare project reports and related documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with HSE and QA/QC requirements.

  • Coordinate testing and commissioning activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in MEP construction, maintenance, or facility management projects.

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and drainage systems.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

  • Knowledge of UAE local authority standards and regulations.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project documentation.

  • Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

  • NEBOSH Certification is preferred. Candidates holding a valid NEBOSH certificate will be given preference.

  • Immediate joiners are preferred.
