Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our construction team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in building construction projects, MEP systems, site supervision, and coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate mechanical MEP works at the construction site.

• Manage the installation of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and other mechanical systems.

• Review mechanical shop drawings, material submittals, and technical specifications.

• Coordinate with civil, electrical, and other MEP teams to avoid site clashes and delays.

• Ensure all mechanical works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and UAE regulations.

• Coordinate inspections with consultants and ensure timely approval of completed works.

• Monitor site progress, workmanship, quality, and safety compliance.

• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project management teams.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in building construction and MEP projects.

• UAE experience is preferred.

• Good knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications.

• Familiarity with UAE authority requirements and consultant inspection procedures.

• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Candidates currently residing in the UAE are preferred.
