Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Engineering: Review, design, and optimize mechanical systems, piping, and equipment specific to petrochemical and gas processing plants.

• Asset Maintenance: Oversee the installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of both static equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers) and rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines).

• International Site Supervision: Travel regularly between regional operations (KSA, UAE) and engineering hubs (Japan) to supervise site execution, conduct inspections, and ensure project milestones are met.

• Troubleshooting & RCA: Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on mechanical failures and implement swift, sustainable engineering solutions to minimize facility downtime.

• Cross-Border Coordination: Act as the primary technical liaison between multinational engineering teams, local plant operators, international contractors, and Japanese manufacturers.

• HSE Compliance: Enforce rigorous Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, ensuring all mechanical works strictly comply with international and local regulations.

• Bilingual Documentation: Draft, review, and present highly technical engineering reports, blueprints, and data sheets in both fluent English and Arabic.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.

• Industry Experience: Proven hands-on engineering experience strictly within the Oil, Gas, or Petrochemical industry.

• Language Proficiency: Fully bilingual with native or professional fluency in both Arabic and English (written, spoken, and technical translation).

• Age Limit: Must be 38 years old or younger at the time of application.

• Mobility & Travel: Complete willingness and legal eligibility to travel frequently and work seamlessly across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Japan.

• Technical Standards: Solid understanding of international engineering codes and standards, including ASME, API, ANSI, and ASTM.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional cross-cultural communication skills, adaptability to diverse work environments, and strong problem-solving capabilities.

Pay: ﷼2,169.33 - ﷼21,328.95 per month

Work Location: On the road
