Role Description

The Mechanical Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves leading and coordinating mechanical engineering activities across construction projects, including design review, technical analysis, and supervision of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications, collaborating with design and site teams, monitoring project progress, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements. The Mechanical Project Engineer will manage project documentation, support procurement of mechanical materials and equipment, and assist in resolving technical issues on-site. The role also includes regular reporting to project management, participation in coordination meetings, and contributing to continuous improvement of project delivery processes.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong core engineering skills, including Mechanical Engineering and Project Engineering.

• Bachelor Degree In Mechanical or related field.

• With 10 yrs relevant experience with Professional registration required.

• Candidates should possess applied design and drafting skills, such as proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD).

• Candidates should possess project delivery capabilities, including Project Management and coordination of Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) works.

• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.

• Experience in building construction projects, preferably within government or institutional sectors in the UAE or GCC region.

• Knowledge of relevant mechanical codes, standards, and local regulatory requirements.

• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work effectively on-site with multidisciplinary teams.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced project environment.

• Currently based in UAE

• With valid Driving License

• Able to attend personal interview
