Mechanical Projects Engineer

**Salary: 55,000 + Package

Location: Halesowen

Job Type: Permanent**

We are looking for an experienced

Projects Engineer

to join a busy mechanical contractor working on projects across the UK, including

schools, hospitals and residential projects

This is a varied role involving both

project/site management and hands–on mechanical work

The Role

Assist with managing projects from start to finish.
Work closely with the Contracts Manager and site teams.
Coordinate subcontractors and monitor progress.
Manage workmanship, quality and site activities.
Liaise with clients and contractors.
Carry out site visits and surveys.
Assist with project planning and programmes.
Support commissioning and handover.
Manage snagging and defects through to completion.
Ensure RAMS, health & safety and CDM requirements are followed.
Identify and report variations and additional works.
Carry out hands–on mechanical installation, repairs and alterations when required.
Use hand and power tools as part of the role.
Attend sites across the UK, with occasional overnight stays and night work when required.
