Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical QA/QC Engineer role based in Abu Dhabi. The Mechanical QA/QC Engineer will oversee and implement quality assurance and quality control procedures for mechanical works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting inspections and tests, reviewing mechanical drawings and method statements, monitoring installation activities, and preparing detailed QA/QC reports and documentation. The role involves coordinating with project managers, construction teams, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve technical issues and non-conformities in a timely manner. The Mechanical QA/QC Engineer will support continuous improvement in construction practices, contribute to risk mitigation, and ensure that mechanical systems are delivered safely, efficiently, and to required quality levels.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong mechanical engineering knowledge, including mechanical systems, construction methodologies, and relevant codes and standards.

• With 5 yrs relevant experience in the field.

• Candidates should possess QA/QC-related skills such as inspection and testing, documentation control, quality planning, and non-conformance management.

• Candidates should possess project coordination and site supervision skills, including stakeholder communication, time management, and problem-solving on live construction sites.

• Candidates should possess proficiency in technical documentation and tools, such as reviewing drawings and specifications, preparing reports, and using MS Office and relevant engineering software.

• Candidates should possess strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams and interact professionally with clients and consultants.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred; professional certifications in QA/QC or construction quality management are an advantage.

• Previous experience as a Mechanical QA/QC Engineer or in a similar role within building and infrastructure projects, ideally with government or institutional clients, is highly beneficial.

• Knowledge of local regulations and HSE standards in the UAE, along with a commitment to safety and ethical practices, is desirable.

• Currently based in UAE

• With valid Driving License

• Able to attend personal Interview in Abu Dhabi
