Job description
-
Oversee the execution of Mechanical services (HVAC, Plumbing & Fire Fighting) systems for various projects on construction sites, ensuring compliance with industry standards and local regulations

Coordinate with design team for load calculations, system design, and equipment selection.

Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and other engineering disciplines and ensure proper integration of MEP works

Ensure compliance with industry standards, local codes, and regulations.

Supervise and inspect mechanical installations to ensure quality and adherence to design specifications.

Review of shop drawings, material submittals, issue RFI if any and also review payment certificates and assist the PM for certification
-
Attend weekly progress meetings with Client, Contractor & other stake holders
-
Coordinate with authorities for site inspections and approvals
-
Verify variation claims and evaluate for the MEP items and support contracts team for arriving eligible values
-
Witness the testing and commissioning activities in line with specifications
-
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to MEP systems during construction.

Review as built & handing over documents
Desired Candidate Profile
-
Bachelorโs degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering
-
4-6 years of UAE experience in Mechanical site inspections & executions.

Proficiency in MEP design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, and relevant MEP calculation tools) & MS office
-
Strong knowledge of relevant authority regulations, codes and standards of DEWA, Civil Defence, Etisalat and other regulatory bodies and approval procedures etc in Dubai
-
Strong knowledge of Mechanical systems, equipment, and controls.

Excellent communication, coordination, and project management skills.
-
-Valid UAE Driving License is required.
