Vacancy: Mechanical Site Engineer

CCME is urgently seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Engineer to join its project team in Abu Dhabi.
Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised university.

UAE Certificate of Equivalency is preferred.

Relevant professional or authority approvals will be an advantage.
Experience Requirements
-
Minimum 5 years of relevant UAE experience.

Proven experience in mechanical and MEP construction projects.

Strong knowledge of HVAC, chilled-water, plumbing and firefighting systems.

Experience in mechanical installation, inspections, testing and commissioning.

Ability to review mechanical drawings, shop drawings, specifications and material submittals.

Good knowledge of UAE authority requirements and applicable technical standards.

Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and project teams.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage mechanical works at project sites.

Ensure all works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications and project schedules.

Coordinate inspections and approvals with consultants and relevant authorities.

Monitor subcontractors, materials, manpower and daily site progress.

Prepare method statements, material submittals, inspection requests and technical reports.

Identify and resolve mechanical installation and coordination issues.

Coordinate mechanical works with electrical, civil and other MEP disciplines.

Ensure compliance with project quality, HSE and authority requirements.

Support testing, commissioning and project handover activities.
