Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced MEP Electrical & Plumbing Engineer to join our team in Qatar. The candidate will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and managing electrical and plumbing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair works for buildings and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical and plumbing installation, maintenance, repair, and modification works.

• Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

• Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, water supply, drainage, and sanitary system issues.

• Review and interpret electrical, plumbing, and MEP drawings.

• Coordinate with technicians, foremen, clients, suppliers, and other MEP teams.

• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality of workmanship.

• Monitor manpower, materials, tools, and work progress.

• Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, safety requirements, and applicable standards.

• Coordinate with procurement and stores for required MEP materials and spare parts.

• Prepare technical, maintenance, inspection, and progress reports.

• Assist with material estimation, quantity take-offs, and quotation preparation.

• Supervise and guide MEP technicians and ensure proper completion of assigned work.

• Identify technical problems and provide practical and cost-effective solutions.

• Ensure proper implementation of health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related Engineering field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant MEP experience, preferably in Qatar/GCC.

• Strong practical knowledge of both electrical and plumbing systems.

• Experience in building maintenance, facilities management, MEP contracting, or similar projects.

• Good knowledge of LV electrical systems, distribution panels, lighting, wiring, water supply, drainage, and sanitary systems.

• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and technical specifications.

• Knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.

• Good leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to supervise technicians and manage site activities independently.

• Qatar/GCC driving licence is an advantage.

Salary: Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.

Pay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR10,000.00 per month
