MEP ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled MEP Electrical Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, testing, commissioning, and supervision of electrical systems for building and MEP projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, codes, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements.

• Supervise and coordinate electrical installation works at site.

• Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings and project specifications.

• Coordinate electrical works with mechanical, plumbing, civil, and architectural teams.

• Prepare and review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documents.

• Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed within the required schedule.

• Inspect installations and ensure compliance with applicable standards and authority requirements.

• Conduct testing, inspection, and commissioning of electrical systems.

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities.

• Identify technical issues and provide effective engineering solutions.

• Monitor material requirements and coordinate procurement with the project team.

• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and maintain proper site documentation.

• Prepare progress reports, inspection requests, and other project-related reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• [X–X] years of experience in MEP/building construction projects.

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including LV systems, lighting, power distribution, ear

• DEWA License is mandatory

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
