PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

Support the Meter Data Provision function to ensure meter data provision and associated activities are processed and actioned in accordance with

shareholder, regulatory and customer expectations for the NT electricity and water markets, ensuring the integrity of meter and standing data is

maintained in a timely manner by addressing business and market system exceptions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The “WHAT” to be delivered

  • Conduct Meter Data Provision activities including data collection, validation, estimation and substitution for market settlement and retailer and

customer billing in line with relevant regulatory obligations adhering to KPI’s and Service Level Agreements

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors to ensure data is accurately received and processed and exceptions are

actioned and that systems are working and maintained.

  • Analyse and identify trends, root causes, and exceptions related to meter standing data and meter data exceptions and substitution impacting

compliance, measured MDP performance, network and customer billing and retailer disputes.

  • Provide key insights and advice, and conduct investigations into metering and data issues, operating systems associated with meter data

provision including asset, billing and headend systems.

  • Address stakeholder inquiries, complaints, and recommend effective solutions.

  • Monitor, analyse, and report on meter data provision compliance, including tracking performance metrics and addressing instances of non-

compliance.

  • Ensure processing of all meter data provision exceptions within contractual and internal and external service levels.

  • Maintain a high standard of quality customer service, including timely response to all service requests, queries, complaints, investigations and

support for other team members and field staff.

  • Detect and report meter tampering, unsafe installations, unbilled meters or other metering issues and ensure accurate recording of meter

readings, meter data, and fees to fulfil regulatory obligations and meet KPI’s and Service Level Agreements.

  • Participate with the review, development and implementation of metering services procedures and policies to ensure the goals and objectives

of the organisation are achieved.

Qualification & Skills Experience

technology and an understanding of metering, meter

data and asset utility systems.
