Full-Stack Developer

We are seeking an efficient, self-motivated, and highly organized Full-Stack Developer to join our development team. This position offers the opportunity to work across the full technology stack while receiving training and mentorship to grow into a Senior Full-Stack Developer role.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on developer who can independently understand requirements, write code, troubleshoot issues, and develop solutions without relying on AI to generate or explain their code. You should have a strong foundation in programming and be comfortable learning and working with custom platforms and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, maintain, and improve front-end web applications.

• Develop and maintain backend applications, services, reports, and internal tools.

• Build and support applications using Node.js and other backend technologies.

• Work with databases, SQL, APIs, and third-party integrations.

• Work with proprietary and custom-built platforms and learn new systems quickly.

• Re-create, enhance, and modernize existing reports and backend tools.

• Develop new features and functionality for large-scale projects.

• Integrate applications with third-party vendors and external services.

• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end, backend, database, and integration issues.

• Test applications to identify bugs, performance issues, and usability problems.

• Collaborate with developers, project teams, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

• Maintain clean, organized, maintainable, and well-documented code.

• Take ownership of projects and work independently while knowing when to ask for assistance.

• Continuously learn new technologies and expand full-stack development skills.

Required Qualifications

• Strong programming fundamentals and the ability to independently write and understand code.

• Experience with or strong knowledge of JavaScript and Node.js.

• Understanding of both front-end and backend web development.

• Experience with databases and SQL.

• Understanding of APIs and system integrations.

• Ability to troubleshoot and debug code independently.

• Ability to learn and work within custom and proprietary development platforms.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Important Requirement

Candidates must be able to program, understand existing code, troubleshoot problems, and develop solutions independently without relying on AI coding tools. AI may be used as an additional productivity resource when appropriate, but candidates must have the underlying programming knowledge and ability to understand and validate the code they produce.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, React or other front-end frameworks, HTML/CSS, SQL, REST APIs, Git, backend development, reporting systems, and third-party API integrations is preferred.

Experience working with custom, proprietary, or internally developed platforms is a plus.
