Mobile App Developer

Position Overview

We're seeking an experienced Mobile App Developer to join our team and lead the development of high-quality mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms. You'll work with modern frameworks, manage app store deployments, and contribute to scalable, multi-tenant solutions serving diverse clients.

Required Qualifications

Professional Experience

Minimum 3–5 years of professional mobile app development experience targeting both Android and iOS platforms
Demonstrated expertise in app store submission, deployment, and post-release management, including Google Play Store and Apple App Store processes (developer account management, TestFlight/beta testing, release notes, version management, and store optimization)
Hands-on experience troubleshooting production applications and managing live app updates and critical bug fixes
Proven proficiency with command-line deployment tools and CI/CD pipelines

Technical Competencies

Expert-level knowledge of at least one cross-platform framework (Flutter, React Native, Xamarin, or equivalent) or native development expertise in Swift (iOS) and Kotlin/Java (Android)
Strong understanding of RESTful API integration and asynchronous data handling
Experience implementing OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect authentication flows
Proficiency with push notification services (Firebase Cloud Messaging, Apple Push Notification service)
Solid grasp of mobile app architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture) and best practices for maintainability and scalability

Core Development Skills

Proficiency in version control systems (Git) with clean commit practices
Experience with mobile debugging tools and performance profiling
Understanding of mobile UX/UI principles and responsive design across device sizes
Knowledge of secure coding practices for mobile platforms (data encryption, secure storage, API credential management)

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced Experience

White-Label / Multi-Tenant App Development: Proven experience designing and deploying branded applications from a single codebase to multiple clients with customizable branding, themes, and feature sets
Experience with calendar/scheduling functionality (date/time libraries, recurring events, timezone handling, calendar integrations)
Implementation of payment processing integrations (Stripe, PayPal, Apple In-App Purchase, Google Play Billing)
Familiarity with mobile analytics, crash reporting, and telemetry tools (Crashlytics, Sentry, Amplitude, or similar)
Experience with local data persistence (SQLite, Realm, Core Data, Firestore)

Modern Development Practices

Hands-on experience with automated testing (unit tests, widget tests, integration tests, UI testing frameworks)
Understanding of agile development methodologies and collaborative team workflows
Experience with code review processes and maintaining high code quality standards
Familiarity with App Store Optimization (ASO) best practices
Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG, WCAG for Mobile) and inclusive design

Additional Technical Skills

Experience with real-time data synchronization and offline-first architectures
Background in backend API development or REST API design principles
Knowledge of containerization concepts (Docker) or cloud deployment platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
Experience with security testing and vulnerability assessment for mobile apps
Prior experience with mobile app monitoring and performance optimization

Portfolio or GitHub repositories showcasing shipped, production mobile applications
Published apps in Google Play Store or Apple App Store
Contributions to open-source mobile projects
Experience in regulated industries (fintech, healthcare, compliance-heavy environments)
Knowledge of progressive web apps (PWAs) or cross-platform web technologies
Prior experience with app localization and multi-language support
