Mobile Application Developer

Mobile Engineer — Riyadh

Anan Sky is a technology company based in Riyadh, operating for nearly 3 years in the Saudi market. We're looking for a mobile engineer to build an MVP companion app — notifications, dashboards, and field-ready tools.

This is a freelance engagement for the MVP, with a strong chance of becoming a full ongoing project as we scale.

The work:

• Mobile app (React Native / Expo)

• Push notifications and alerting

• Dashboards and quick-lookup tools

• Offline-capable architecture

Why this is worth your time — even as a freelance gig:

• The industry we're building for instantly sets your CV apart. We can't share the full details publicly, but the sector this product serves is one where mobile engineers with real experience are almost nonexistent. That scarcity means the work you do here makes your profile stand out in ways that another e-commerce or social app never will.

• This kind of project gets you noticed by people who are hard to reach. Major contractors, government subcontractors, and enterprise firms actively recruit engineers who've built field-ready, offline-capable mobile tools in high-stakes environments. Most applicants don't have that background. After this MVP, you do.

• The MVP is aimed at something much bigger. This product is being positioned for adoption at a level most engineers never get to touch. If it scales and your code is the foundation — that's not just a freelance gig on your portfolio, that's a career-defining reference.

• Full project opportunity. The MVP is the starting point, not the end. Engineers who deliver well are first in line for the full build — ongoing work, growing scope, same team.
