South London (Mobile) | Full-time | Mobile role

We're looking for a Mobile Electrical Engineer to join our team supporting the MET Police estate across South London. In this role, you'll deliver planned and reactive maintenance, inspections, and fault finding across a portfolio of police stations, ensuring systems remain safe, compliant, and fully operational.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, inspections, and fault finding

  • Complete electrical installations, upgrades, and minor works in line with safety standards

  • Maintain accurate compliance documentation and service records

  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and resolving queries

  • Participate in a 1 in 6, 24/7 on-call rota

Required Qualifications:

  • Level 2 & 3 City & Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation

  • 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

  • Willingness and ability to obtain MET Police CTC Clearance (can take up to 7-10 months)

  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

  • Good communication and a proactive, client-focused approach

  • Ability to work independently across multiple sites
