About The Role

The role owns the end-to-end development, performance, and scaling of native mobile applications reaching millions of active users daily on both iOS and Android.

The engineering team builds robust, responsive user interfaces and robust underlying architecture, working closely with product managers and backend engineers to deliver a seamless mobile experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build advanced native mobile applications for iOS using Swift and Android using Kotlin, ensuring high performance and reliability

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features within fast-paced product development cycles

  • Integrate with RESTful and GraphQL APIs to fetch data, handle offline caching, and manage complex state across application layers

  • Identify and correct mobile performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and UI rendering issues using profiling tools like Xcode Instruments and Android Studio Profiler

  • Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability standards

  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new mobile technologies and frameworks to maximize development efficiency

What We Are Looking For

  • 3โ€“6 years of professional software development experience with at least 3 years focused on native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) or Android (Kotlin/Java) development

  • Proven track record of publishing at least one original iOS or Android app to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store

  • Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVP, or VIPER, and reactive programming principles (Combine, RxSwift, Coroutines, Flow)

  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning on mobile devices

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

  • Bonus: Experience with cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile deployment (Bitrise, Fastlane)
