Job description

About The Role

The role owns the full lifecycle of native mobile applications on iOS and Android - from architecture design to high-performance, butter-smooth production releases used by millions of users.

The engineering team works closely with product managers and designers to build robust offline-first capabilities, complex animations, and seamless real-time syncing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop native mobile applications for iOS using Swift and SwiftUI, and for Android using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose

  • Build high-performance, reusable UI components and implement complex animations adhering to strict human interface and material design guidelines

  • Integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs, managing local data storage using Room, CoreData, or SQLite with robust offline-first synchronization

  • Optimize application performance, memory management, and battery consumption using profiling tools like Xcode Instruments and Android Profiler

  • Implement automated testing strategies including unit tests, UI tests, and snapshot tests within CI/CD pipelines

  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and mentor junior mobile engineers on best practices

What We Are Looking For

  • 3-6 years of professional software engineering experience with at least 3 years focused on native iOS or Android development

  • Deep proficiency in Swift/SwiftUI or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose with a strong portfolio of apps published in the App Store or Google Play

  • Solid understanding of mobile architectural patterns (MVVM, VIPER, MVI) and asynchronous programming paradigms (Combine, Coroutines, Rx)

  • Experience with mobile CI/CD tooling (Bitrise, Fastlane, GitHub Actions) and automated app distribution

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

  • Bonus: Experience with cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter, and familiarity with native C++ integration
