Newly Qualified / Part-Qualified Accountant

Full-time | Office-based

Ardagh Consultants is seeking a newly qualified or part-qualified accountant to join our accountancy practice in Tullyallen, Drogheda.

This is an opportunity to develop your experience across accounts preparation, taxation and client management, working with a range of business clients.

Key responsibilities

Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
Prepare income tax and corporation tax returns.
Prepare and submit VAT returns.
Process payroll and handle related submissions.
Complete bookkeeping, bank reconciliations and review client records.
Liaise with clients to gather information and respond to queries.
Manage deadlines and support the day-to-day work of the practice.

About you

Newly qualified or part-qualified accountant; applicants from all recognised accountancy qualification routes are welcome.
Accountancy practice experience is a must.
Good understanding of accounts preparation and Irish taxation.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Comfortable communicating with clients and working as part of a team.
Confident using Excel and accounting software.
