NLP / LLM Engineer-Oil & Gas / Energy

Builds the language capabilities: natural-language querying over risk and barrier data, AI-generated executive summaries, and AI-assisted RCA logic-tree and root-cause suggestions from structured and unstructured records.

Required Qualification:

• 3+ years building NLP/LLM applications in production.

• RAG architectures, embeddings, vector stores, and prompt/evaluation frameworks.

• Strong Python engineering; API-based and/or self-hosted model deployment (e.g., AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, open-weights).

Key Responsibility:

• Design and build retrieval-augmented (RAG) query capability over platform data with strict grounding and citation of sources.

• Develop summarization for management reporting and completed investigations.

• Build causal-suggestion features for the RCA platform from historical investigations, documents, and event sequences.

• Implement guardrails, evaluation harnesses, and hallucination controls; deploy within the client's approved cloud boundary.
